Journal entry for May 19, 2005, 1300 hours.

Well, it's T-minus 72 hours and counting until my long schlong of the law comes home.

It seems like only yesterday it was freshman year and he asked me to homecoming.

And now he's returning from the academy, a grown man with a badge of honor.

The patriot in me feels like I owe him something special for protecting and serving our community.
